Do y'all know the Lemonheads wrote the original version of "Baltimore," or was it someone else? I first heard the song years ago, but I couldn't remember who originally sang it.
ReplyDeleteUpon doing some quick research, it looks like song was written as "The Streets of Baltimore" by Tompall Glaser and Harlan Howard in 1966. Glaser recorded it with his band later that year, but the first recording was actually by Bobby Bare a few months earlier.
